I was born in Kentucky, but have lived in Florida since I was one year old. So I guess you could call me a native Floridian. After graduating from the University of Florida with a BA in History (2009), I developed a passion for education. Most of my teaching experiences have been at the secondary level as an ESE teacher. I have taught a wide range of subjects from academics to career and life skills. Also, I am certified to teach ESE K­12, Social Sciences 6­12, Reading K­12, and Elementary Education 6­12.Currently, I am working towards my Masters in Reading Education and hope to graduate soon. In my free time, I like to watch movies with my cat Precious. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends whether it’s dining out or canoeing at Silver Springs.
