Hello, I’m Dena Dove.  I’m an Employment Specialist with employU’s Jacksonville region, as well as a member of the ADEN team.  These experiences allow me to work alongside the most amazing team of professionals dedicated to compassion and success.  I am thrilled that I get to meet and collaborate with customers in our adult program and empower individuals to thrive in their dream jobs.     

I am a native of California but have spent the majority of my life in Colorado.  While there, I worked for over 15 years as the owner of my own business as a Host Home Provider. I provided Comprehensive Residential Care to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities.  I have extensive experience with both residential and day programs for adult customers with emotional and behavioral challenges as well as blindness.  As a Host Home Provider, I worked with customers in their communities to assure goals were met residentially, vocationally, and recreationally.  I assisted with financial spending accounts and audits, medication administration, and residential health and safety.  

Now, as a representative of employU, I have the honor and pleasure to forge relationships in our community with individuals and employers who also envision differences in abilities being a part of vocational success and meaningful employment.   

This is the most rewarding position I have ever held.  I love my job and the opportunity it affords me each day to work with brilliant, humorous, and talented individuals.
