Kimberly Halhober

Position: Lead Youth Employment Specialist

My name is Kimberly Ann Halhober.  I recently began my rewarding career at employU as the Transition Coordinator in beautiful Palm Beach county. I am proud to bring lots of education and experience to our transition team.  My educational background began at Wayne County Community College in Michigan where I studied psychology and business development.  I retired at an early age from the automotive industry as a National Account Manager with Manheim Remarketing.  I returned to school to earn my Associates’s degree in Child Development and Human Services because I found working under the Human Services umbrella to be my true passion.  I also earned The State of Florida Discovery and Customized Employment credential.

My previous work experience includes working within childcare centers and within the school district to implement and assist in the development of Inclusion Services, IEP services, and Self Advocacy.  I started working outside of the school district providing adults and students with employment services about 3 years ago and I love it.  I believe every person has the right to be treated with respect and dignity and I believe every person has the right to make their own decisions and choices.  As a Transition Coordinator, my goal is to help provide knowledge, guidance, support, and opportunity to help guide a pathway to success. I find helping others to be very motivational and inspirational.  I bring lots of positivity to my approach.  I’m the most positive person I know.  My husband and I have been married for over 25 years and I am the proud mother of three adult children and one amazing grandson.  I believe you should make the best of every day and happiness is a choice.
