Takisha Howard

Position: Virtual Instructor

My name is Takisha Howard. I love working with young people and I have worked in Orange County Public Schools since 2003. I am currently an elementary school counselor as well as a online adjunct instructor. I received both my bachelor’s degree in sociology (1994) and my master’s degree in administration (2000) from Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia. I have a Master of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University. Additionally, I have an educational specialist degree in curriculum, instruction, management and administration as well as a doctorate degree in instructional leadership from Nova Southeastern University. I have a beautiful, twenty-four year old daughter who is a graduate of UCF and USF. Also, I have six wonderful bonus children. I enjoy reading psychological thrillers, traveling, shopping, and spending time with my husband, amazing family and friends. I am looking excited to join the employU team of professionals to help support more of our young people learn and grow.
