My name is Tkeyah Branton. I have lived almost my entire life in Orlando, Florida. I relocated to Orlando when I was about 6 years old from South Florida. I have enjoyed my life in Orlando and the many opportunities that have presented themselves over the years. I am engaged to my high school sweetheart, and we have two beautiful
daughters and two fur babies who all bring me so much joy. My daughters are “Irish Twins”, and their ages are 7 and 8 years old. My daughters are very competitive and participate in many different sports activities. So, in my downtime, I am left with driving the girls around to different practices and events.

I have worked in the educational setting for the past 8 years. I have held many different positions from support services clerk to program assistant. In 2021 I graduated from Grand Canyon University with my B.S. in education. I am currently a 6th grade World History teacher and I enjoy every bit of it. When I decided to become a teacher, there were many things I had to consider. I had to ensure that I was 100% driven to provide students with the best education and to dedicate and support my students. Once self-aware, I ventured off to become an effective educator. Prior to education, I worked as a group home manager for adults with mental disabilities. The best part of my job was seeing the happiness on my clients’ faces when they achieved a milestone, that they were once told they couldn’t complete.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and watching sports. I am a MAJOR Dallas Cowboys fan, and love to attend games and watch games on television. I also enjoy swimming, reading, and completing DIY projects around my home. As I take on my new opportunity with employU, I look forward to meeting and networking with new people, and I’m eager to learn more and grow with the company.
