This is where finding the right fit for both businesses and job seekers becomes instrumental in creating successful solutions for all. The Jacksonville area is also home to one of employU’s industry-specific programs. This specialized program focuses on the specific skills needed for different trades within the construction industry. Through this program, participants can earn valuable industry certifications, such as OSHA-10, while gaining experience within the industry during paid on-the-job trainings. Not only do participants gain skillsets and qualifications, but the on-the-job training can also act as a foot in the door within the industry or even their host business.

For example, our on-the-job trainings provide host businesses with a risk-free solution to fill gaps within their workforce.  These programs allow host businesses to have employU clients work for their business and gain experience while employU pays the wages.  As an additional part of the program, ongoing support is available with an employU Job Coach checking in with the customer and their supervisor. The Job coach is there to assist in any challenges and suggest solutions if needed.
