Resources for Veterans

Though many Veterans are aware that they are able to receive employment services through Veterans Affairs (VA), there is also another option for free of cost employment services for Veterans who have been diagnosed with a disability. Through Vocational Rehabilitation, a federal-state program not affiliated with the VA, Veterans can request to work with employU for employment services at no cost to them.

Vocational Rehabilitation (through Florida Statute 413) defines a disability as "a physical or mental impairment that constitutes or results in a substantial impediment to employment." Therefore, a disability includes, but is not limited to, the following diagnoses;

  • PTSD
  • Vision Impairment
  • Hearing Impairment
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • ADHD

How to Get Started

To take advantage of employU's free of cost employment services, you must first register with Vocational Rehabilitation (VR).
