In-Person Summer Career Camps

Available in select areas

Learn about the education and career opportunities in a variety of industries. Enjoy these in-person career camps with hands-on activities, site tours, field trips to worksites, and information from industry leaders. This program is structured as an immersion experience and will cover an array of career opportunities within each area’s selected field. There will be a graduation event with a certification presentation to all students who complete the program.

*Students ages 14-21, in school with an IEP or 504 plan are eligible to participate.

What’s included:

  • Transportation: to and from a local employU office to Career Camp site visits.
  • Workplace Readiness Training 
  • Career Camp Counseling on Enroll Opportunities 
  • Work-Based Learning Experience

Plan to:

  • Attend a mandatory virtual orientation day the week before your camp starts
  • Bring your own lunch
  • Have transportation to and from the Career Camp Host Site

50-hour Career Camp

In-person Monday – Friday

Learn about the education and career opportunities under the hospitality umbrella. Enjoy this in-person career camp with hands-on activities, site tours, field trips to hotels, and information from industry leaders and best the hospitality professors. This program is structured as an immersion experience and will cover an array of career opportunities within the hospitality field. There will be a graduation event with a certification presentation to all students who complete the program.

*Students ages 14-21, in school with an IEP or 504 plan who reside in Orange, Lake, or Seminole counties are eligible to participate.

  • Transportation: to and from employU’s downtown and Winter Garden offices to UCF Rosen College and site visits.
  • 20 hours Workplace Readiness Training 
  • 5 hours Career Camp Counseling on Enroll Opportunities 
  • 25 hours Work-Based Learning Experience

This camp is in-person Monday – Friday, 5 hours per day of activities and a 1-hour lunch (food provided).
